Grainy + Ai is a series where I recreate scenes and images produced by different generative Ai models.

Ai is something we will have to live side by side with. Currently, I see it as a tool to further my creative journey.

My goal with this project/experiment is to see how far I can stretch the creative limits of Ai and to learn as much as I can from it

The 'Pyone' series is the result of a weekly challenge I created for myself; come up with a different theme/rendition of the 'Pyone logo' every week. It was during COVID lockdowns so I thought I might as well spend time learning new skills.

However, I had difficulties coming up with themes (being lazy was also a part of it), so I decided to ask my Instagram friends to request a theme they would like to see each week. And it worked!

Every week, I would fulfill one person's request. Some were easy, some were hard. But this challenge pushed me to explore more about VFX and CG. By the end of 2020, I had over a dozen renditions of the logo (I would skip some weeks to work on some other projects).
